Audio Pro Network started in 2008 as a private social network for verified audio professionals, cultivating low-noise professional conversation and connections. In 2020 the site made a major evolution, by launching a separate, one of a kind Mentorship Platform. Now in 2021, we relaunch the site and open the Mentorship Platform to the public after a year of real world testing.
With studio jobs hard to come by and competition tough, students and recent audio school graduates now have somewhere to go to gain the mentorship that can help them land that first elusive job. Audio Pro Network was built to advise, inspire, and educate with weekly updated video courses, quizzes, webinars and messaging from actual industry professionals.
We built APN with 2 main goals in mind. Goal #1. Shorten what would usually be years of personal development so you can get on the fast track to career success. Goal #2. Help you manifest the networking and connections that young people entering the workforce need to cultivate a long successful career. The audio industry is a business based on teamwork, relationships and community. We help our members learn the communication skills they need to survive and thrive by giving them the foundation of a network full of like minded individuals starting at the same moment in their careers.
The Mentorship Platform has 2 levels of membership.
Basic Membership offers courses that start you from the ground up, featuring courses and lessons that transcend audio and reach into the areas of networking, building your website portfolio, breaking into the business, and much more. Real world workflow is demystified, deconstructed, and explained. Weekly small group webinar events and access to your mentor 24/7 via messaging.
For Personal Coaching members we up the ante . Offering 1-2-1 guidance, inspiration and education, we work with members one to one, identifying their strengths and weakness, speeding up their personal growth with actionable plans to help them launch their career. When Personal Coaching members are ready, we actively advocate on their behalf, doing our best to help them find positions in the industry. Studios and post production facilities can hire from our member base with confidence knowing that their prospective employees have been coached by industry veterans.
